A 20min drive to MONA, 30min drive to Hobart, 2min walk to the popular shops on Stephen St, New Norfolk (Black Swan books/coffee, Miss Arthur, The Drill Hall), around the corner from the Agrarian Kitchen Eatery, and a short drive to wineries and Mount Field National Park. Enjoy the opportunity to stay in one of Derwent Valleys Grand Designs. This spacious studio space expanded over the bottom floor of the house, offers a queen size double bed, ensuite, full kitchen, dining table and living area. National Park is located in the upper Derwent Valley. The accomodation is 5min drive to Mt Field National Park. Maydena bike park just a 15min drive up the road. There is an abundance of beautiful walks with a selection of river valleys, waterfalls and giant trees.

Modern house Maydena \ Mt Field \ Tyenna

Recently built, my self-contained house in Fitzgerald is modern and family-friendly. It is 5 minutes from the Tyenna river and a magic spot for fishing and watching Platypus. I'm also less than 5 minutes from the Maydena Mountain Bike Park. Also MT Field and National Park are a 10 minute drive. Stay in and prepare meals or have dinner at the Mountain Bike Park (check their socials for opening times). As well, the visitors center at MT Field has a stylish and comprehensive cafe.

Rosendale Stables

Reconstructed sandstone barn set on working asparagus farm offers comfort and seclusion. Features expansive glass areas and generous verandah/pergola. The garden features English trees planted in colonial settlement days circa 1807 to 1850. Excellent shopping opportunities within 5 kilometres; 45 minutes to Hobart: 1hour to airport; 20 minutes to Mount Field National Park. On farm produce available in season in an area of growing culinary endeavour.

Post House Cottage - 10 Minutes to Mount Field

Accommodation located within 10 minutes drive to the spectacular MOUNT FIELD NATIONAL PARK. Cottage was built in the early 1900's in the picturesque Derwent Valley. The cottage is set on 13 acres and is private with your own fully fenced yard. We give you your privacy but if you need us, we are close by to assist. The cottage makes a welcoming break between Hobart and Strahan. Cottage caters to children over 12 years of age only.
