Our tiny log cabin is a cozy getaway, close to hiking, mountain biking, and cross country skiing but only 10 miles from the amenities of Bend Oregon. It is a rustic place, with modern touches, like a gas range, refrigerator, and a gas fireplace. The bathroom is detached from the cabin - steps from the door. It is fully equipped with plumbing and a shower. Our place is perfect for people who love the outdoors with the comforts of home. No children under the age of 12 -- And alas, No Pets.

The 4 bed (2 separate bedrooms and one sleep/lounge area) and 1 bathroom cabin + secluded and fully fenced outside area offers a cozy gathering place close to some of Oregons most beautiful destinations (i.e. Smith Rock State Park, Mount Bachelor,...).

Black Duck Cabin

Cozy A frame cabin set in a quiet neighborhood among the pine trees just a short walk from the Deschutes River. The Black Duck Cabin is a perfect destination for all of Central Oregon's amazing activities. 10 minute drive to Sunriver Village, 30 minute drive to Mt. Bachelor, 30 minutes to Downtown Bend, 10 minute walk to the Deschutes River, golfing, fishing, hiking, shopping, mountain biking, all a short drive. Our condo is part of the Powder Village Condominiums, B building, second floor #2. The condo has vaulted ceilings with a lofted area for relaxing. It includes a full kitchen and bathroom with a shower. There is also a balcony with seating and an electric grill. The property includes a seasonal outdoor pool and a hot tub that is open year round and laundry facility on property. There are paved walking/biking trails nearby and a short walk to bars, restaurants and convenience stores.

Our cozy cabin is an excellent getaway for anyone who just wants to be surrounded by everything that Central Oregon has to offer. With the National Forest and the La Pine State park just a few minutes away, there are options for hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding or ATV rides. During the winter season, activities such as snowboarding, skiing, sledding, and snow mobile rides are only within 40 minutes away at Mt. Bachelor. City life in Bend is only 30 min away.

The Outpost Bend

The Outpost is a seperate guest home located on our 10 acre hobby farm. It offers spectacular views of the Cascades, stunning sunsets and a peaceful, private location 15 minutes east of downtown Bend. The property adjoins public land, and is on a quiet country road. Our family lives onsite with our 3 sons, dogs, hens, and sheep. The Outpost has a private driveway, use of basketball court, and a lovely private outdoor seating area. 45 min drive to Mt. Bachelor.

Our cozy Vintage Yellowstone "Tin Can" camper is nestled in it's own corner of our 5 acre property located in Terrebonne, OR just a 10 minute drive from Smith Rock State Park and within an hour of the very best outdoor adventures in Central Oregon! Next to the camper is the shower house/bathroom with an outdoor washing sink.
