Cozy Detroit Cabin

We purchased this cabin as our family's vacation home and wanted to share the peace and comfort it has afforded us with others. The home was built in 2005 in withstood the terrible fires that destroyed a large number of buildings in 2020. Thankfully our cabin survived and the town is rebuilding! The cabin located right off of Highway 22 across from Detroit Lake. The cabin is surrounded by trees on a quiet dead end road. Has heating and air conditioning, as well as high speed internet. *no pets

Cabin by the Santiam River, Recreation & Hwy 22

Located near Hwy 22 in Mill City (30 miles from I-5 & Salem) The cabin was home to the Charlie Stewart Family in 1949. Updated in 2022. It comfortably fits 2 adults & 1 child. Sofa bed is NOT recommended for adults. New King Bed. Private, the whole place is yours! No shared walls; our home is behind the cabin. Great for travellers, kayakers, and campers. Walking distance to parks, river, store, bar & grill. RV parking on request. EV charging available with advance arrangements only.

The Mckenzie House w/ sauna & outdoor shower

The McKenzie House sits on 2.5 private, quiet acres on the majestic McKenzie River, a half-mile walk from Loloma Lodge. A paradise for fly fishermen, cyclists, hikers, & skiers. Enjoy a riverfront sauna, hot outdoor shower, hot tub, & safe, easy river access. BBQ on the riverfront deck, picnic by the water or meadow, wander the woods, pick blackberries. Enjoy volleyball or horseshoes, campfire s'mores, hammock naps, swinging over the river, catching fish right in front of the deck, and more.

Come relax on the North Santiam River. Escape to a wooded, 2 bed / 2 bath newly remodeled home. Located right on the River bank of the N. Santiam. Enjoy reading, fishing, crafting, playing games or putting together one of our many puzzles. Experience our beautiful property by using our outdoor fireplaces, hot tub, BBQ or just enjoying time on the deck. Just up the street you can experience guided kayaking. Walk the Mill City Bridge. Have some coffee. Grab a bite to eat. Come and enjoy!

Alpine Den - A Modern Forest Escape

The Alpine Den Is perfect for all occasions, from a romantic getaway to a family retreat. Located in an old growth forest near the Salmon River, nestled under a canopy of Firs and Cedars. The cabin sits on a picturesque half acre lot, minutes away from great restaurants, markets, golf course, biking and amazing hiking trails. Wolverine Cabin

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Just a short walk to Kane's Marina, the Detroit Flats Park, or Detroit City Park. Detroit Lake Marina and local boat ramps just a short drive away. Just 45 min to Hoodoo to hit the slopes early in the morning before the crowds. Sit by the campfire, enjoy the lake, wander the forest, hit the ski slopes, lots to explore at this house in the Willamette National Forest. There is something for everyone just an hour from Salem.

Cabin on The Rim

Take it easy at this unique and private getaway. This off the grid studio cabin is located just 10 minutes from Smith Rock and 10 minutes from Lake Billy Chinook. It is positioned on the edge of the Crooked River Gorge with breathtaking views of the canyon. Near the cabin is a trail head to a private hiking trail that takes the adventurer down into the canyon where the scenery is otherworldly. Enjoy a sunset with full cascade Mountain View’s, green pastures, and grazing horses.

6 minute walk to Detroit Marina. This house with two bedrooms and two full baths can sleep 8. In addition to the two bedrooms, the loft area has a queen cabinet bed plus a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. Gas BBQ grill. Dining table seats 6, eating bar seats 3. Forced air furnace with AC. A 6 minute walking trail at the end of Tumble street leads to Detroit Marina which offers slips for mooring your boat during your stay. Outdoor fire pit. Internet and WiFi available.

The Hideout | A Modern Tiny Cabin Near Mt. Hood

The Woodlands Hideout is a small intentional semi-offgrid retreat space, featured on Dwell. It was designed and built by Further Society and created to allow guests to immerse in the beauty of the natural world, but still offer some cozy and more essential comforts. Although the footprint of the space is small, we designed the experience to be outward focussed, so it feels very expansive with the towering pine trees in view.

The Little Lodge

The Little Lodge is a 2024 remodeled mid-century cottage. Centrally located around restaurants, golf, hiking, waterfalls, fishing, and the McKenzie River. This mountain style home is perfect for an individual, or two. A private trail from the back deck leads down to the emerald waters of the McKenzie River. Detailed craftsmanship intended to offer the cozy mountain feel, and outdoor living for scenic relaxation.
