We are less than 2 miles to Shilstone House, the very popular wedding venue, which is just over the hill. Elegant, spacious, and designed for relaxed, memorable stays, whether as a family, a couple or a group of friends, with/without a dog!

Peaceful cottage set in beautiful countryside

Ashwell Cottage is located in the grounds of our home, Ashwell House at the end of a country lane in the heart of the peaceful and tranquil Devon countryside. The Cottage was completely renovated in 2019. It has its own cottage garden, which in turn is set in the substantial grounds of Ashwell House. French doors open out onto a patio area with an outdoor dining space. The loudest noise you are likely to hear is the occasional passing tractor, and our own normally well behaved dog.

Santai is a luxurious, stylish apartment that embodies the perfect blend of boho charm and wabi-sabi elegance. This unique retreat offers an inviting open-plan living area with warm, earthy tones, natural textures, and curated vintage decor. Outside, a small private roof terrace extends the living area, with views of the surrounding South Devon Countryside and Totnes below.

Ruby Retreat Shepherd’s Hut in Devon

Ruby Retreat is a unique Shepherd's Hut hand built in larch, cedar and ash by local carpenter, Peter Milner. His skilled design and craftsmanship gives Ruby a very special feeling. She is brand new for 2023. She sits in her own secluded position on a working Devon farm. The views over the glorious Devon hills are truly captivating. There is nothing to distract you from gazing at the fields, hills, woodland and distant church spire (well, maybe some sheep and lambs frolicking).
