Casa Viva Barrel is a barrel-shaped cottage which provides a novel experience while staying connected to the rich Costa Rican feel and ambiance. The cottage also has a notable craftsman feel where the carpenters took great attention to detail from the shape of the structure to the hand-made furniture, and round-shaped windows that were all custom designed for a truly unique and comfortable experience. It has 2 new mattresses (King) and Murphy Bed (Twin) which can accommodate up to 3 people

A half-mile from Matapalo beach, the house has a pool, A/C, WiFi, and gated/covered parking. Surfboards and bikes are available to rent, and you can book surf lessons. Nearby activities include visiting the sea turtle project, kayaking, and horseback tours. Sit on the beach and enjoy the sunset, or find a secluded swimming hole along the river.
