Welcome to the historic Pumphouse on Lake Superior with 200' of lake front! The Pumphouse is one of Duluth's iconic and historical properties. This home was originally designed by John Wangenstein in 1860 as the water pump house for the City of Duluth but was abandoned. Miss Elisabeth Congdon converted the pumphouse into an absolutely stunning French-style home. We are located lakeside on London Road, just a short drive to Duluth's downtown restaurants, entertainment, and Canal Park. PL19-166.

We are known for beautiful sunsets with quiet surroundings and located minutes from the famous Brule River, great hiking trails nearby and a 35 minute drive from Duluth/Superior or a bit further east to the Bayfield/Ashland area. The Pine Cone Cabin

The pine Cone Cabin is tucked into a hillside of towering lush pines overlooking the beautiful St Croix Flowage. Get ready for a most relaxing encounter with nature....eagles flying in and around you, swans occasionally floating along the shoreline (besides our plastic swan friends, lol) and loons calling softly through the night. ..Sunsets and moon rises on the flowage can be mesmerizing, especially when sitting by a warm campfire.
