Less than 2 miles from the old fishermen’s Cornish villages of Kingsand & Cawsand and on the outer edges of the Mount Edgcumbe Estate, we have lovely woodlands behind us and the tranquil waters of Plymouth Sound in front. 🌊

Waterfront Boathouse - Drift Cottage

An Old boathouse right on the waterfront with ever changing views and sunsets. Turnchapel is a beautiful village with two superb pubs and a café. There is a decked terrace, two large balconies and a private garden leading to a floating pontoon and secluded pebble beach all exclusively for guests. Very cosy with an open fire from an old ship and the house is full of antiques. Plenty of beaches, walks, ferries and activities nearby. Open fire Dogs welcome. Monday and Friday check ins.

Below Decks is right in the middle of the picturesque, colourful, friendly village of Turnchapel. The village has two superb pubs and a cafe within a short walking distance. You have two small beaches right on your doorstep, ideal for all water-sports. Mountbatten Beach and Mountbatten water-sports centre is a 15 minute walk away. Plymouth Hoe and the city centre is accessed using the Mountbatten ferry. This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit.

This space is on our middle floor, you access your own front door through the property’s main porch area and your own private studio has everything you need to recharge, reconnect and get away from it all

A former 17th century pilchard palace, tastefully transformed into a boutique beach house, offering luxurious home comforts, with spectacular sea views. This unique property stands on the beach and is literally in the sea at high tide! Although sleeping 10, we recommend no more than 8 adults plus 2 children. The twin villages of Cawsand and Kingsand are situated on the Rame Peninsula - known as Cornwall’s forgotten corner. Unspoilt, safe and utterly charming.
