Háafell Lodge

Welcome to Háafell Farm where we raise sheep, keep horses and have one friendly dog. Our private guest house is located 200 meters above the farm, up the mountain at 130 meters above sea level. It is a recently built (2020), 100 square meter, modern “turf house style” house. Háafell means “The High Mountain” and has a long river that cascades down its side with several tiers of waterfalls. It is a five minute walk to our canyon and it is possible to take a cold bath in one of the waterfalls.

Grásteinn is one of three cabins that we own. Nónsteinn, Grásteinn and Grýlusteinn. Our cabins are a perfect getaway place to enjoy the nature at it fullest while relaxing with a breathtaking view. Laxfoss Luxury Lodge | Waterfall Lodge

Enjoy majestic views overlooking the waterfall, with mount Baula towering over the Norðurá-valley to the North and the Skarðsheiði mountain range to the South. Hvammur 2 Bjarg Cottage with a private hot tub

Bjarg is a summerhouse in Bjarnarfjordur, 25 km from Hólmavík. Excellent location for travelling to North/South Strandir or Westfjords. The house stands by the river that runs down the valley. It is a quiet place an excellent place to see the northern lights. Swimming pool and geothermal hot tubs are located in Laugarhóll about 1 km from the house. Outside the house is a fire place, surrounded with trees. Good for quiet evening under the sky and aurora borealis.

Eyri seaside houses north, with great sea view.

Eyri Seaside Houses is a cozy, warm and new guesthouse with a great ocean view on our small horse farm. We usually have horses at home, and if you like, you can contact us and we’ll let you pet them with us! We’re located in Hvammstangi but still very private, with only the ocean and landscape in view. There are a lot of birds at the beach, and there’s even a chance to spot seals. Occasionally whales enter the fjord, but you’ll need a lucky day to see them.

Privately owned small house next to the Atlantic Ocean with great view over the mountains. A Perfect location to see the Northern Lights during the wintertime (if conditions are optimal). The place is just outside Town of Borganes (5 km) where you can find a discount store. Interesting places nearby are Langjökull, Barnafossar, Deildartunguhver (hot spring) and Snæfellsjökull. Also short drive to Reykjavik (80 km) and Golden Circle (100 km).

The 45m2 cottage is equipped with two bedrooms, a toilet with shower, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a view of the valley below Kirkjufell and a hot tub on the terrace.

Beautiful 37m2 cottage located in the heart of Stykkishólmur, with a view of Breiðafjörður from the living room. Perfect location and a short walk to the harbor, restaurants, grocery store and community pool. Small yet spacious, the cottage is newly refurbished with wooden floors and geothermal underfloor radiant heat. Bathroom with shower, and private bedroom sleeps two.
