Set in an idyllic village, Cranborne is known for being an area of outstanding natural beauty and for having the best unpolluted night skies for star gazing. Within walking distance we have great pubs, restaurants, garden centre with café, historic church, village shop with post office and a fantastic brewery with neighbouring bakery which offers Friday night takeaway pizzas.

Orchard Barn offers a couple the perfect romantic retreat, including a new Spa Barn with hot tub and sauna, for your exclusive use during your stay. Orchard Barn is spacious, detached and oak framed, set in a large garden with pretty woodlands. It has a stunning double height ceiling, giving a truly romantic feel. The cottage is equipped to meet all your needs, from luxurious white linen by Beaumont & Brown, to robes for the spa. I aim to ensure that all my guests have a truly memorable stay.

With spectacular far reaching views Stride’s Barn is situated 9 miles from the Cathedral City of Salisbury and 15 miles from Southampton . An ideal base to explore the local areas including many walks, pubs , restaurants, golf clubs and other tourist attractions such as Stonehenge and Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World . The Barn is a converted property located at the head of the stunning Tarrant valley within the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The main living area has dual aspect and bifold doors out onto an enclosed patio, garden and seating area. Two of the bedrooms have internal balconies into the main body of the barn and triple velux roof windows to enjoy the rural views. The third bedroom has bifold doors onto the patio and an en-suite with rainfall snail shower. TV/cinema room.

18th Century Cottage in Dorset Countryside

This idyllic country cottage is surrounded by peaceful woodland and fields. Once an 18th-century barn, it has been lovingly restored and what a welcoming place it is. Inside, you'll find a traditional open fireplace, wooden beams and lots of exposed brick. The cosy sitting room is the perfect place to hunker down on cooler evenings, there's ample sofa space for six and a TV to watch films. Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and downstairs there is a 3rd bedroom and bathroom.

The Lodge is newly refurbished with all the facilities you should require during your stay with us.
