A penthouse apartment in a grand 1925 beaux-arts-style building overlooking one of Cairo's most famous downtown squares, Midan al-Falaki. The apartment has been restored to art deco perfection, with furniture and fixtures carefully selected over several years from local antique dealers. From the balcony one can see a sliver of iconic Tahrir Square, scene of the 2011 uprising, as well as the Muqattam hills to Cairo's west. Both the Egyptian Museum and the Islamic Museum are an easy walk away.
