Surrounded by beautiful National and State Parks and only 20 minutes from Ski Liberty. Enjoy a relaxing time surrounded by trees or take a walk along the neighborhood orchards. Sit on the covered porch, relax by the fire-pit and eat on the back patio – or if it’s cold outside, enjoy the wood stove!

The Antietam Toll House (@antietamtollhouse) is a renovated historic property circa 1800. Sitting on the bank-head of the Antietam stream, this cabin has it's own private fishing hole. Secluded, yet close to amenities and attractions, this property is the perfect place for an artist retreat, respite from the city or a base from which to explore local gems of the area. This garden apartment is tucked into a hillside above a creek, along the Jewel Vinsota Sculpture Trail. Your host/gallery curators live upstairs. The “Artist’s Guesthouse” is next door. The private entrance is down a stone-stepped path. Perfect for 2 w/ the queen bed but room for 3 w/ the living room futon. Fully equipped kitchen. Spruce Run Cottage, Farm stay on Catoctin Mountain

The cottage is located on 25 acres of mostly wooded terrain off Highway 17 near Wolfsville, Maryland, less than an hour and a half from D.C. The cottage faces the woods and the private drive down to the creek. There is almost zero light pollution at night so stargazing is incredible from the balcony. The hosts live on the property up the hill in an 1890’s chink log cabin. Although you can see our house, the cottage feels very private and is a quiet comfortable retreat in the hills.

Mom's Cottage

Mom's Cottage sits on the shore of Lake Kay in the shadow of Liberty Mountain. Gettysburg battlefield is ten miles away and two golf courses are nearby. Jacks Mountain Road covered bridge, Michaux State Forest, including the Appalachian Trail, Pine Grove Furnace, and Caledonia SP are nearby. Other local features include Mount St. Mary's, Cunningham Falls SP, and Catoctin Mountain Park. A paddle boat and two kayaks are available.

Colonial Era Spring House

A unique and private mountain top colonial era spring house, with two springs flowing thru the basement. Originally the site of a tannery in the 1700s. Here you can relax, recharge, and rejuvenate. We celebrate all four seasons where you can enjoy Mother Nature's ever changing scenery at 1300' above sea level with fresh mountain air. Our area offers many things to do, or you may choose to stay in and do nothing at all.

The Red Barn

The Red Barn is located in a very rural setting about 10 miles from Gettysburg. The Red Barn is approximately 1/2 mile off the main road and within a stone's throw of the Mason Dixon Line. If you are looking for a quiet space with not super internet this is the place. Plenty of books to read, miniature donkeys to watch playing with their border collie pal and on a clear night - see some awesome stars!
