The Lazy J - a peaceful farm in a natural setting

Welcome to the Lazy J Ranch. We offer a self-contained walkout basement suite that sleeps four comfortably. The suite has a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a bathroom, and a fully fitted kitchen/living room with a sofa-bed. It has its own patio with table, chairs and barbecue, and a view out over the fields and the forest. Nestled on 13 acres, The Lazy J is home to our alpacas, horses, goats, chickens, dogs and cats. Walk down the trail to watch the animals, and relax beside the creek.

Englishman River Park and the famous Hammerfest trails for bike and hikes. Fast Times amusements is just 10 min away with fun for the whole family. Parksville beach is a short 20 min comute. Cathedral Grove is 30 mins away for a beautiful stroll through the massive standing B.C. trees.

Enjoy an abundance of natural light from windows and skylights. The space also includes a 3 piece bathroom and a small table and 2 chairs for dining or use as a work station. We are located just outside Parksville in a rural area. This is a great central location for exploring the Island and only 10 minutes from downtown Parksville.

Curved boat like getaway adjacent and overlooking Helliwell Park, it's in the grassy oak grove meadowlands with spectacular open southern views, beach below. Featured in handmade builders of the Pacific Northwest. Stone, cedar, stainless steel, driftwood and sod. The house is best as getaway for 2 with occasional guests in separate bedrooms. all amenities plus a fireplace, heated stone floors and outside bathtub. The cabin is situated on two floors, with a loft style third bedroom and bathroom on the upstairs level.
