Segun Odofa was born and raised in Western Nigeria. In 2015, he founded catering company, Delicious African Orchards. Segun has been featured on CCTV, NYC News 12, Madame Noire Magazine, Amore Magazine, and Eat Africa - an online food app company. Segun has also successfully catered over 50 wedding and hundreds of other smaller events, solidifying his culinary prowess in New York City. Most recently, he won the 2017 Jolloff Festival with his rendition of Jolloff Rice, served with his famous Buka.

This was an excellent introduction to West African food. The food was phenomenal and Chef Segun talked about the history behind the dish. The dishes are served mildly spicy and there's a choice to add up the spice if you need more. The intimate dinner setting made it easy to connect with the other diners. The Chef and staff members also spent some time to talk to us. I would do this experience again and bring some friends!

This was an exceptional intimate experience. The food was great and very accessible to someone who had never tried this cuisine before. The event was well run, the chef, assistants, and event organizers were happy to chat and explain their culture. I’d do this again!
