I immigrated to Canada from Asia in 1989, and I was homesick and longed for Asian food. I started to explore Toronto and learned more about the food my city has to offer. I have come to realize that within walking, and transit distance, I can experience eating at Korea Town, Greek Town, Little Portugal, and more. My passions for volunteering and travel—and my love for food—gave me the opportunity to explore more. I want to show my city and what it truly offers—Toronto is the most diverse city in the world, according to the BBC, and Torontonians agree. I cannot wait to be your host.

Grace was exceptionally gracious (living up to her name!) and was a warm, friendly, and knowledgeable host. She worked with me to find a time to meet because she wanted to share her passion and knowledge of Koreatown. Even though some places were closed due to the long weekend (we took our tour on Canada Day), actually most spots were still open and we took a great tour of restaurants, cafes, ice cream, and bubble tea places, as well as the grocery store and some lovely gift shops! I could tell she knew her stuff on Korean food and I feel well equipped to bring guests to K-town next time because I made sure to note all of Grace’s top recommendations! Two thumbs up, 5 stars!!! Great and fun tour!
