We will start the journey from the ferry stop on Søren Kierkegaards Plads that is located close to the Royal Library, then taking the harbor ferry 991 to Teglholmen. Experiencing Copenhagen's harbor from the water is simply magical. I will highlight the various projects along the waterfront that are capturing the headlines along with some hidden gems thrown in.
Arriving in South Harbor 25 minutes later, we will then embark on a walk around Teglholmen & Sluseholmen, where I will describe the neighborhood's DNA seen from the eyes of a local resident and a professional designer. We will explore the neighborhoods canals, facades and yards ending the trip at the fabulous Yum Café & Yoga Studio, where I will provide further information about your stay in Copenhagen. The café is just a short walk from the ferry terminal on Teglholmen, where you can take the harbor ferry 992 back to central Copenhagen.
Other things to note
Bring an umbrella - just in case. Max. 8 persons per tour. Copenhagen's harbor ferries are generally wheelchair and bicycle friendly.

My name is Phillip, a British/Danish spatial designer living and working in Copenhagen.
I have lived in Copenhagen's, Sluseholmen since 2006 and followed its development intensely. It's transformation never ceases to amaze me and I take great pleasure in sharing this unique part of Copenhagen with other architects , designers curious souls and travelers. Since graduating at Denmarks Design School in 1994, I have traced the urban development of Copenhagen's waterfront, which I will point out on our tour along with some hidden and secret gems. I regularly contribute blogs and articles about Sluseholmen and Copenhagen in general, which you can discover at philsspaces.com.

We will meet at the 991 /992 ferry stop on Søren Kirkegaards Plads close to the Royal Library. From there we will travel on the ferry to Sluseholmen & Teglholmen in South Harbor, an area that has transformed southern Copenhagen.
This was a wonderful and unique experience to see this part of the city with an expert, who is knowledgeable and at the same time very personal and flexible. Depending on the kind of experience you are after, it can be an architecture lesson, a story about Copenhagen's fast growth or an introduction to what it's like living in Denmark as a successful foreigner. It's up to you and Philip makes that happen. Highly recommend!

Phillip was a wonderful guide for our tour. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and personable. We had a great time getting to know each other and the Danish culture. We would gladly recommend his tour to our friends and family visiting Copenhagen. Phillip actually went past our tour time to share more information with us, which was very kind of him to do.

Great tour with Philip who had 2 guests that day, one French and one Greek. The Greek showed up one hour late while the French sipped wine. Philip waited patiently and then not only gave a great tour but avoided the war between 2 European nations.

I really enjoyed chatting with Philip about the city and strolling around Sluseholmen!
I recommend this experience to everyone that want to see a different side of Copenaghen and also learn a bit more about the way locals live and enjoy their city. Philip is a great guide: full of information but even more full of passion for what he does!
He helped me a lot sharing useful info on the metro/bus system before I got here and he also gave me some recommendations for what to do and see in the next days of my vacation.
Thanks again Philip!!
