We'll eat (& drink) our way around China via the diverse regional cuisines available on this 3-hour neighborhood food tour. Come hungry, we've got 15+ tastings at four different restaurants, and a few extra surprises along the way. You'll join fellow travelers from around the world as you explore the city's best dinner food.
Whether it’s cracking into spicy rabbit head or checking out the roasted meats headed for your table, you’ll love this feast for the eyes and the mouth. We've also got veg options at every stop. We'll also sample Shanghai's famous soup dumplings (xiaolongbao).
And don't forget the drinks! We'll wash it all down with baijiu – the famed local spirit that is much better than its reputation. Plus, try a variety of local beers, including the most consumed beer in the world that you've never heard of and a hard-to-find bottled Chinese hefeweizen, in addition to the region’s famous huangjiu - yellow wine.
The best part of Chinese dining is eating family-style with new friends - the more friends, the more dishes sampled. Please note that group sizes will vary from 4-12 guests.

We'll meet on the sidewalk outside Kam Fung Restaurant at 229 Dongzhu'anbang Rd, near Jiangsu Rd. 东诸安浜路229号长宁区，近江苏路. If you're late, look for us inside the restaurant.

Amazing. I was hesitant to book because of the price. But I’m so glad I went. Absolutely worth the price and reasonable for all the planning and personalization they put in. I never could have tried so many dishes from so many regions on my own in one night. I will be looking at their other tours. Chelsea and Patrick were phenomenal hosts. Highly recommend.

Great experience. Tried a lot of food that I wouldn't have by myself and the guides Katie and Topher were very knowledgeable and friendly. They were also extremely accommodating when it came to dietary restrictions and preferences. Would recommend!

This food tour was a great hit - all the meals (and they were plentiful) were yummy and we got try quite a bit of new dishes. The host was knowledgeable and spoke native English and was easy to understand but also was well versed in the Chinese culture and the stories behind each stop. Good value as we had 4 sit down stops and 2 quicky “street foods”. Would recommend!
