We will hike roughly 4 miles roundtrip to the summit of Mount Woodson and visit the world-famous Potato Chip Rock to capture some breathtaking photos to share with all your friends and family. Our hike starts from Highway 67 and is the shorter version of this hike (longer version is 7.5 miles roundtrip) which follows steep service roads with fantastic views of eastern and coastal San Diego. Expect to hike for about 2+ hours depending on wait times for photos.

Along the way, there will be many opportunities for frame-worthy photos which I am more than happy to take. This hike is also littered with giant boulders which are actually world-famous for their difficulty and abundance. We will likely see climbers making their way to the tops of these rocks while we hike.

Feel free to ask questions along the hike, I'm more than willing to share my knowledge with all. I have lived in San Diego my entire life and am happy to share some of my favorite restaurants, breweries, tourist spots, beach breaks, hiking trails, and more.
Other things to note
Transportation not included. Children encouraged and pets are allowed. We practice Leave No Trace ethics and encourage others to do so.

It was honestly a fun hike, learn a lot about nature snacks and a little history about the place, Trevor was very flexible and fun to be with, he took many pictures and show us cool view spots, I enjoyed my time from beginning to end. Definetely recommend doing this hike with Trevor!
