Come to my workshop, where we'll drink traditional Korean tea together. We'll melt natural soybean wax and add fragrance oil before applying designs of pressed dry flowers to the surface of the candles. I want you to express the inspiration you've gained from Seoul during your visit. The session will be around two hours long, during which time you can expect to make one seven-ounce soy candle.

We’ll be at my workshop, near Hong-ik University Station. It’s a cozy workshop located in a quiet residential area of the city. Nearby is the Gyeong-ui Forest Park, a pleasant place for a walk. My workshop is also close to the Hong-dae commercial district.

Making these candles was so much fun! I know there are other classes that do the same thing, but I really enjoyed it regardless. The flowers were beautiful, it challenged me creatively, which was really interesting, but I enjoyed the whole experience!
