Acerca de 4 km para Norte, a partir da cidade da Horta, fica a Praia do Almoxarife. No espaço " a moagem" há vida em cada recanto, no jardim existe uma cisterna d' água e uma eira. Apresenta uma arquitetura de traça tradicional, que remonta ao início do século passado. N' a moagem pratica-se uma filosofia com base no tradicional e sustentável. É constituído por: apartamento, jardim, atelier de artesanato, quinta com animais, hortícolas, frutícolas e sementes de variedades tradicionais.

A beautifully decorated and equipped apartment with everything you need for a relaxing vacation and enjoying the wonderful island of Faial. The apartment is located in a slightly higher part of the city, so we recommend a car for those who don't enjoy walking. Free parking is always available next to the apartment.

The "Casa Guardiao" is situated at the Porto Calhau. The big appartement with 2 bedrooms is situated on the first floor of the "Fisherman's Retreat Pico." This is the best spot to watch the sunset and start your walks. It's only a 10 minutes drive from Madalena and about 20 miutes drive from the airport.
