The house is located in the quiet residential area of Marshside which is nestled between the RSPB nature reserves and coastline and Churctown with its pubs, bars, eateries, shops and Botanical Gardens. There are a few golf course nearby with many more in the area including The Open Golf Championship Course of Royal Birkdale. The house also has easy access to Southport (about a 5 min drive) and Ainsdale Beach (about a 12 min drive both by using the the scenic Marine Drive which follows the coast.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Melsmere Lodge is a 2 bedroomed thatched cottage on the side of a private 1.5 acre lake and is surrounded by woodland and open countryside. The lake and woodland attract hundreds of species of birds and mammals. The lake itself is stocked with coarse fish. A little oasis of nature with easy links to local cities. Explore the wider Wirral area on the network of public footpaths or take a short train ride to the cities of Liverpool or Chester.

‘The Shippen’ is a barn conversion, once part of a small dairy farm. High beamed ceilings give a spacious, rustic feel, and the double sided log burner makes the living spaces cosy. Step back in time and enjoy a stay in the peaceful & historic village of Port Sunlight. This original, grade 2 listed, black & white fronted house with its dramatic barley twisted chimneys has all the modern amenities you require for a relaxing stay. The house is the perfect base to explore the surrounding areas of Wirral, Liverpool, Chester and North Wales and is just a short walk from Port Sunlight train station, Gladstone Theatre, a quaint coffee shop, the local pub and nearby restaurants!

The Holt Bolt Hole

We have a lovely house in the countryside in Cheshire. Our Airbnb is The Bolthole.This is separated from the main house via an internal locking door. For you is a front door with key safe, lounge, comfy sofas, tv, log burner, 2 double bedrooms one with a tv, and bathroom with shower. Kitchen area with airfryer,kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge the only thing we don’t have is a kitchen sink but we wash up for you! Workspace and guest wifi access available. Outdoor seating available. :-) x

The Annexe

The Annexe is a self contained property directly opposite our family home. All fixtures and fittings have been thoughtfully planned to ensure you have a comfortable stay. There is one large double bedroom with a luxurious king size bed, an open plan living area with a smart TV, log burner for cozy nights and electric heating. The bathroom has a large walk in electric shower. The property is suitable for up to two adults (not suitable for children/toddler’s due to the large pond nearby).

1750's cottage with open fire and beams

Take it easy at this unique and cosy cottage with a real open fire and original beams. The cottage was constructed in approximately 1750 during the reign of George II. The cottage is constructed from wood and stone and there is not a straight wall, ceiling or door casing in the house! You learn very fast (after banging your head once or twice) to duck under the low door frames and beams. The cottage is small, quirky and very cosy but with a suprisingly large master bedroom and bathroom.
