It is just 45 minutes to the great recreation area of Manning Park, with numerous outdoor activities for all ages and abilities. When at the Retreat, soak up the stream sights and sounds, and the varied flora and fauna. Relax on the deck by the creek, with many activities nearby. Carriage house - open concept one bedroom suite upstairs and games room (unheated) downstairs. Quiet location at Hatzic Lake with Westminster Abbey and mountain views. Parking for max 3 vehicles permitted. Fully equipped kitchen! Fast wifi, 55" Smart TV, books, games, go for a walk, relax in the antique clawfoot tub. BBQ and fire pit. Dock, lake access for kayaking is June to early Sep. (high season). Limit 4 adults per booking with up to 6 guests including children. No parties & no visitors.

Hitchings Hideaway

A cozy rustic log cabin in the Cascade Mountain community of Sunshine Valley. This little cabin will provide you with an escape from the city with its relaxing (private) hot tub & gas fireplace. *Pls note: Sunshine Valley is a neighborhood of cabins-we have neighbors on either side. Some people enjoy bringing ATV's to the area. You may hear these vehicles, particularly in the busier summer months and/or weekends. The community is growing and there are some new constructions in the area*.

Must Love Chickens (and cats, dogs, ducks...)

As a farm and since we live on site, our suite will still be allowed under BC's new AirBnB restrictions. With its own private entrance, this bright, south facing suite offers 2 acres of outdoor space with views of Mount Baker from our partially covered patio. Hike one of the nearby trails, feed our chickens, ducks or goats, or just watch the grass grow. Ask about seasonal homestead workshops like making cheese or picking your own apples and making fresh cider.

Cozy Log Cabin

Our log home was built to replicate historical buildings in BC with a roof line borrowed from Quebec. The main floor is an open concept with a kitchen, dining area and living room. Bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. I have a clawfoot bathtub but do not have a shower. The back yard is large and fenced for kids and a dog to enjoy. Bring your own wood if you want to use the fire pit. Bring pods if you want to use the Keurig or Nespresso.
