Unwind with spectacular sunrises from this sunny waterfront cottage on a tidal cove in the Kennebec River! This is the perfect home base for a midcoast Maine getaway. The post-and-beam cottage has cozy furnishings and expansive views across a field, pond, and cove. Bald eagles and osprey soar overhead, sturgeon leap in the river & nights are full of stars. Not recommended for those with mobility issues. Bathroom is downstairs, bedroom is upstairs. Owners live on property with small dog.

Our South Portland in-law suite is on a private floor & has its own private entrance at the back of the house. It is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom space with a fully stocked kitchenette and free parking. You'll love being only a 5 minute walk from Willard Beach and walking distance to 2 different lighthouses: Spring Point and Bug Light. You'll also be a 10 minute drive to Old Port. This is our family camp, with our own books, games, and “vibe”. It is not a hotel, and some things may not be “industry standard”. Nestled in the woods on 2.5 waterfront acres where the Muddy River meets Merrymeeting Bay. The cabin is 350 square feet of simple living with a panoramic view. There is a three season hot water outdoor shower and wood burning stove with plenty of wood included. Kitchen is fully stocked with cooking supplies and has off grid cold water sink. Outbuilding with composting toilet is right out the back door. Kayaks and stand up paddle board are available to rent for an additional fee.
