Dog friendly Little Appleby is located in Egerton, rural Kent, the Garden of England. We are well placed for the tunnel with Folkestone, Le Shuttle 20 miles away. Egerton adjacent to Pluckley boasts many lovely country walks with huge Dering woods walkable from the listing and the villages of Goudhurst and Sissinghurst within 20 minutes. By car, Rye, Canterbury & Whitstable are within 40 minutes Ashford Designer outlet is 25 minutes away. The dog friendly restaurant and pub is a 5 minute walk.

Located in a conservation area The Tiny Chimney house is a converted brick building attached to a quirky 40ft Victorian Chimney. The room sleeps two and is ideal for hikers or a couple's rural escape, but still within an hour of London.

The Annex at Poplar Cottage

Forget your worries in this serene space located in a small village close to a superb local pub, Sissinghurst Castle, Bedgebury Gardens as well as many stunning countryside walks and places of interest. The Annex has its own access and provides a lounge with fully fitted kitchen, one bedroom and en suite shower room with a private decked outside space overlooking a garden. Visitors have free parking (by prior arrangement). Nearest shops can be found in surrounding villages 3-4 miles away.

Please note this is strictly a NO SMOKING property inside the Lodge, the garden and surrounding field. The property is also NOT SUITABLE for infants, children or pets. Two adults only.

Idyllic, peaceful one double bedroom cottage by Sissinghurst Castle, only a 15 minute woodland walk away by public footpath. Sleeps 2-4. Set on the edge of a large, glorious lake, the cottage is a tranquil retreat at all times of year. In private grounds of 18 acres and surrounded by woods and wildlife, the cottage dates from 1798 but has recently been beautifully extended. The wood burner makes it a cosy and romantic getaway. London is only one hour away .

With free parking and an hour from London on the train, it’s a lovely spot for enjoying footpaths from the door that take you directly to Sissinghurst and visiting nearby vineyards. The cabin is also within walking distance of two well renowned pubs. . A dedicated work space is available with superfast WiFi access. There is also an outside patio for you to enjoy a cold glass of wine or a delicious cup of coffee.

It has a very large open plan living/dining/kitchen area with doors onto a decked terrace and two en-suite double bedrooms, with ample room for parking.

Old Smock Mill is a romantic place for couples. The atmosphere inside is peaceful and relaxing. Everything is designed to unwind you from the moment you walk in. It is surrounded by the lovely Kent countryside where you can ramble and refresh yourselves by perhaps ending the day in one of the great pubs cosy by a log fire in Winter or in Summer in an English garden. Guests have said how hard it is to tear themselves away, it truly is a treasure to find.

Coes Farm offers 50 acres of absolute tranquillity in amongst nature, with a bit of luxury thrown in too! We have formal gardens and ornamental ponds, a large lake, plenty of woodland, open fields, an indoor saltwater swimming pool with hot tub, a tennis court and a games room which is resident in our Micro-Winery! We planted our 5 acre vineyard in Spring 2021 and extended the existing Orchard with cider varieties in 2023.
