The Owlery at Mill Farm

Recently converted, the Owlery is the perfect self-catered rural escape for couples. With its double height vaulted ceiling and full height double aspect windows the open plan kitchen living diner offers a light and airy space to unwind and enjoy the view of surrounding fields. The bedroom has a Kingsize bed, Egyptian cotton sheets and En-Suite shower room. The Bathroom offers complimentary Bramley products and cotton bathrobes. Both areas are underfloor heated. The village has a wonderful community shop, pub, gastropub and a restaurant. Walks through the surrounding countryside crisscross throughout the village and its just a short 18 min walk to the train station where trains run to York (11 mins) and Leeds (15 mins). Originally created as a self contained home for my parents has been thoughtfully designed with accessibility in mind. A lovely Suite overlooking the courtyard and garden to which you have free access. Pocklington is 2 miles, with plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants. The local pub is ten minutes walk. York is a 30 minute drive. We are perfectly placed for walking, cycling or driving holidays. York 12 miles.
