A private garden with a stunning summer terrace, overlooking the grasslands where cows are grazing during the summer times will make your stay unforgettable. You will be able to enjoy fresh produce from our vegetable garden and our parents farm.

Tussen Gent en Oudenaarde ligt Dikkelvenne, een pittoresk dorp in de Vlaamse Ardennen. Het vakantiehuis is een gerenoveerde schuur met een panoramisch zicht op de Schelde, een ideale uitvalsbasis voor wandelaars en fietsers. Omheinde tuin met verwarm zwembad (15/6 - 15/9 open).

Everything you need for a perfect stay @Ghent. Just a 5 min walk from the train station, making it an ideal choice if you're travelling with luggage. You'll stay in a quiet neighbourhood while enjoying excellent connections to Bruges, Antwerp, Bxl,... From your stay, you can easily walk to Ghent's historic city centre or take the tram. The 2nd tram stop is already at the edge of the old town, near the Bijloke site, home to a former monastery, the Museum and Stamcafé for breakfast and coffee.

We warmly welcome you to our tiny house where it is all about nature, comfort and a perfect gateway to unplug from city life. You can sit in the terrace and enjoy the sounds of birds, our lovely pets walking in front of the house. There are nice restaurants and cafes. It is also the perfect base to visit the historic cities of Antwerp, Ghent, Bruges and Mechelen. The house is equipped with every comfort and tastefully decorated. There is a private garden with terrace, BBQ and private parking. Dog allowed.

The cottage is privately rented but is connected to a B&B. On request, breakfast can be served in your private garden, in your cottage or on your bed. The last renovation of this 16th century Erker house over the water dates from the beginning of 2020, with again preservation of all the authentic, characteristic elements. From your King Size bed you have an exclusive view of the garden and the water (the Bruges Canals) makes your stay complete.

Oasis of tranquillity for hikers, bicyclists and nature lovers, where pets are more than welcome. (a bit difficult for bigger dogs, there are stairs to climb) Situated along cycle route 70, in the middle of nature and yet close to the historical cities of Ghent, Bruges, Courtrai and Antwerp. Enjoy the fresh country air! In our street you can hear chickens cluck, donkeys bray and there are even sheep, cows and only kind people.
