Although there isn't much room to roam on the property itself, there is access to the Pere Marquette Rail Trail only a short drive North. The cabin is just off the highway in farm country, and is described as peaceful with a cozy interior. You may however hear some road noise if you are relaxing outside. Rain or shine, you will have a great time. Private and fenced backyard to enjoy your coffee in the morning, grilling in the afternoon and bonfire in the evening. Take a soak in the hot tub and play a round of ping pong, electronic darts or cornhole in the gameroom and tiki bar. Jet ski rentals available thru wakedayz .Paddle boards and kayaks are provided so you can get out on beautiful Five Lakes. Take a swim and picnic at the beach. The beds are comfy, the house is cozy and well stocked.

This home was created for my wife (Sarah) after we received difficult news of her cancer diagnosis (Ewing Sarcoma) while pregnant. We were able to create an uplifting environment to support her as she battled courageously. Unable to leave the home much, we decided to bring life's beauty to her within the home and around the property. Sarah was the ultimate host who loved to bring people together. We now visit for my little kids to remember their mom. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

This 1000sq ft home is on the Pere Marquette rail-trail, surrounded by peaceful country. Only 3 miles from hospital & Northwood University. A marked conservation trail is across the street. Tittabawassee River is a short jot down the road. Feel free to use the kayaks I provide. Enjoy coffee on the deck while watching the turkeys & deer. Enjoy yard games and the bonfire pit. Grill out using the gas grill provided. The Tridge and Dow Gardens are 5 miles away. Feel free to soak it all in :)

Our place is close to lakes, boat launches, canoeing, swimming, fishing, boating, tubing, hunting, hiking trails, golf, zip line, go carts, batting cage, arcade, putt-putt golf, area ATV & ORV trails, bowling alley, nice restaurants/bar in town, skiing, snowboarding, and family-friendly activities. Casinos close by! You’ll love our place because of its country setting with many activities close by! Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

The Cousin Cottage

Kick back and relax in this tranquil, stylish space. Indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit (with plenty of wood) and outdoor dining space. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need (small appliances, pots & pans, utensils, etc). Dining table with family games. Right across the street from the lake on the south shore. Located within walking distance to restaurants, stores, ice cream shop, etc. Half a block lake access for ice fishing and snowmobiling. No pets please.

Just South of Heaven

Just South of Heaven is located near Clare, Michigan, the “Gateway to the North”. A great place to enjoy all the activities that Northern Michigan has to offer. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath home gives you full access to 10 acres of property with a large yard and 2 car garage. Hosts Luke and Angie live next door with 2 sons, 1 very friendly dog and 2 cats.
