Get away from it all at Dewerk's Ranch. Forty-four miles north of Reno on US Highway 395. Escape the busy world to enjoy the tranquility of the Eastern Sierras. Experience the wilderness with the comforts of a real home, surrounded by thousands of acres of national forest. A 7/10 mile gravel road to the house removes you from the rest of the world. Sunsets, sunrises and the night sky are amazing! It's an 84 year-old house but solid and tidy inside. Caretaker lives on site to assist as needed.

Bauhr's Hostel Guest Ranch Cabin #1

Bauhr Ranch is a working horse facility in the Sierra foothills outside of historic Chinese Camp and 1 hour from Yosemite. There are two guest cabins for anyone - horse or non horse folks. They are Hostel style- guests need to bring their own bedding or sleeping bags and pads. They have water and limited power. There's a separate shared restroom & shower - outside kitchen/seasonal fire pit. The cabins are a nice stop on the way to Yosemite or extended stays in which to enjoy the Gold Country.

The Little Wild Lodge

A perfect place to stay on a trip to Yosemite. This is a dry cabin with access to an outhouse just outside the door. Portable water is provided inside the cabin. A microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker keep all the creature comforts available. Access to a small charcoal grill and fire pit make this glamping experience extra fun and memorable. The cabin is located directly between the South Gate entrance and the West gate Entrance to Yosemite. This cabin sits on 47 beautiful acres.
