Four Season Private Retreat

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located on the back channel of the Mississippi River, you have a beautiful water view and water access everyday. While you have a private, quiet location to retreat to, you are also located only 5 miles from the historic river town of Red Wing, MN, home to many parks, golf courses, bike/walking trails, pickleball/tennis courts, marinas and boat launches. Perfect for a weekend getaway, a staycation, or a cozy home base while exploring the area.

Veterans Retreat

It's wheelchair accessible with 36-inch-wide hallways and doors plus supportive bars in bathroom to shower and assist for stool sitting. It is spacious enough to be inside with bench kitchen and coffee pot . Dogs ok $50 cleaning fee each additional dog is $25. Thier is access to state park trail from the back yard.I built it for my fellow Veteran brothers/sisters who may have some disabilities but still can enjoy it, so 15% off if you do rent. However, it can also be reserved by non-veterans.

The pull-out couch in the living room allows a max occupancy of 4. Enjoy evenings gazing at the stars, walk through our wooded paths or enjoy a burger at Dan's Bar & Grill only 3 minutes away. We're in a quiet neighborhood located right off the Great River Road, which is surrounded by nature with the convenience of being 1 mile from Maiden Rock amenities. We’re in the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend getaway or work-from-home retreat.

Second floor access only with private entrance. 4 bedrooms, one bathroom and a living room. No kitchen. Clean and quaint. We operate a coffee shop on the lower floor of the house on seasonal weekends so expect light noise after 7am (shop opens at 8 am) but come down for a complimentary coffee or tea and a homemade scone Saturday and Sunday morning.
