Lofty ceilings and timber walls create a warm bach-like interior with large ceiling fans in each room and a log burner fire. Glass sliders open out to dramatic views of the harbour and hills. Enjoy a drink or BBQ on the large deck or unwind with a hot outdoor bath. Just a 5-minute walk from the local supermarket and brew bar.

Allandale Bush Retreat

A nice relaxing bush setting,on a lifestyle block, that also has farm animals.( chickens, ducks & sheep). There is seasonal fruit to pick from our trees, such as apples pears & feijoas. You can have breakfast outdoors with the bellbirds or a barbecue in the evening. We are only an hours walk along a beach track to the local Otorimiro(Governors Bay) hotel , or else it is 5 minutes drive. We are surrounded by beautiful scenery and close to the Port Hill walking tracks and mountain bike trails.

Bathroom and living area. Fully insulated and double glazed with a heat pump/air con. Lovely quiet area with beautiful views of the hills and a 900m walk from Sandy Bay Beach. 25mins drive from Christchurch Centre. Please note there are no shops in Governors Bay but there is a cafe and a pub.

An 8 minute drive to Lyttelton provides a range of eclectic cafes, restaurants and bars and a well-stocked supermarket and pharmacy, and a Farmers Market every Saturday our Tiny provides an alternative to the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
