This room features hand-turned Colonial-era queen bed with a luxury mattress and is decorated with our signature blend of classic and contemporary furnishings. Highlighted in this room are Eastern facing windows with beautiful light, maple hardwood flooring, and original 1920's topographic maps of West Virginia. The honeycomb tiled bathroom is furnished with porcelain fixtures and has has a subway tiled shower with bathtub.

This newly renovated room is in the original 1834 side of the hotel. Named for Walter Martens, a prominent West Virginian architect who designed the 1928 portion of the Inn and the Governor's Mansion in Charleston, WV!
