The River Villa - near Boquete

Located on the banks of the Papayal River, with views of the mountains and distant Volcán Barú, the River Villa is a quiet place to be surrounded by nature. From the living room with open kitchen and the bedrooms, you look out over the garden, perfect to watch birds pass by. A staircase leads down to the river pools shaped by years of flowing mountain water. The softened current makes them perfect for swimming. There’s also a shared pool underneath mango trees, 3 min walking from the house.

Fortuna Cabins

This is a recycled house; it is more than 100 years old and is self-sustainable, which means it is powered by a generator. Schedule electric hours ahead of time. We are at the peak of the mountain, the sun comes up from the Caribbean sea, it is a great view. We are in the middle of a natural reserve where you can see more than 600 bird species, 45 butterfly species, and the orchids trail on the back of our house. Breakfast is provided for an extra cost.
