Enjoy the comforts and quirks of staying in an off-grid glamping caravan, plus substantial lounge room with log burner. Close to all the adventure and scenery North Wales offers. Near the village of Llanfihangel Glyn Myfyr, Pen Y Banc is reached by driving through Clocaenog forest. Located in a wildflower meadow, with outdoor seating & bbq/firepit. RELAX and unwind on our secluded 22 acre smallholding.

Vintage Safari Caravan

Beautiful vintage safari caravan sleeps 2. Contains a refrigerator, two gas rings and a grill. There is also mains electricity and a small electric fan heater. The upside down boat shed (Shed of the year winner 2013) used as a chill out space overlooking the Cambrian mountains. The upside down boat shed is a shared space with other guests and residents of the house. Due to the fact we are surrounded by sheep no dogs are allowed. Please note that we have two very sociable dogs that live here.

Cefn Coed Woodland Camping - Pitch1

Make camp in a sheltered valley of ancient oaks, where the slopes of Cadair Idris roll down to the banks of the Mawddach Estuary. The site is part of a historic Welsh farm estate that now covers a splendid 75 acres of farmland and forest. Miles of walking, and riding paths are easily accessible directly from the site. Bikes are available to hire and food can be delivered directly to your camp. Price is per night in a woodland camp for 2 persons and one vehicle. Upgrade pricing on our website.

Bluebell the horsebox on the edge of Snowdonia

Bluebell is a lovingly converted classic Mercedes 814 oak horsebox. Enjoy a peaceful stay in our wildflower meadow. Cosy woodburner inside or sit around the firepit outside. There is solar power and usb sockets, but no mains power or wifi. The shower and compost loo are nearby. We provide a cool box with, tea bags, fresh coffee, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. 15 minutes from Zipworld. Walk or bike straight into the mountains. Farm shop and cafe a 20 minute walk through fields and woods.

The ShowMan's Wagon on the Mawddach

The ShowMan's Wagon is a renovated 1950's fairground travelling-van overlooking the Mawddach Estuary near Dolgellau in the Snowdonia National Park. Sleeping up to 3 (over 12s only), the centrally-heated wagon also boasts a lounge with log-burner, a bathroom with loo, sink and shower, and a galley kitchen with dining area. Outside, a small-enclosed garden faces the estuary and forms the perfect spot for the first coffee of the morning or a cheeky sundowner after the day's adventures.

Kettle, saucepans, frying pan, 6 plates/cups/bowls/cutlery sets, 4 camping chairs. No mains running water, rain water for washing up & shower. Fire ring, BBQ grill and covered picnic table.

There's a kitchen, a shower, a composting toilet and a 60" projector for streaming movies or music.
