Clean, comfortable and cute for those looking for a comfy place to get away from it all. Carmen’s Cabin was built by my daughter Carmen and her father in 2005. Open, bright, clean and cozy, this beautiful and efficient cabin is found in a wonderfully pleasant and family friendly neighborhood. It was situated on site to take maximum advantage of the stunning views of Kachemak Bay and the Grewingk Glacier. This is a no-pet listing, just right for one or two people. We would love to host you!

Adorable dry cabin in Fritz Creek, AK

Quaint dry cabin a stone's throw from Fritz Creek General Store. Comfy queen bed in the loft and futon on the first floor. This spot is close enough to enjoy the shops and cuisine of Homer 15 mins away, or enjoy the solitude and grab a cocktail at The Homestead nearby. Four miles beyond us takes you to Eveline State Rec Area. The cabin is cozy- monitor heat or the warmth of late day sun through the southwest facing picture windows. A clean composting outhouse completes the rustic atmosphere.

This unique, private studio apartment is a cozy getaway right on the edge of the Alaskan backcountry. Enjoy the opportunity to witness sandhill cranes, moose, foxes, and other wildlife right out your window! Comfortably sleeps 3 with 2 x twin beds and a convertible futon bed. Apartment includes private bathroom, coffee & tea, microwave, fridge, double burner, full cooking supplies, TV with ROKU, and wifi. Property has plenty of parking. A remarkably short 10-minute drive to downtown Homer.

Finally, after your day of hiking, come soak in our hot tub and sip on some local wine while the sun sets over the mountains. Lastly, let the sound of our stream lull you to sleep in our custom artistic home!

Beautiful Beachfront Lodging: Deckhand Suite

Truly stay in the center of it all on the Homer Spit. Just out your door are the many shops, galleries and restaurants, yet in your beach side suite overlooking the beautiful vistas of Kachemak Bay, you’ll swear you are miles away. Pet friendly, max 2 dogs. Conveniently located above Central Charters and Tours, across the street from the Homer harbor. The Deckhand Suite is our smallest suite, private, cozy, and inviting with a beautiful view. We have 4 more units please inquire

Surf Shack on Hesketh Island

Sleep to the sound of the sea! The Surf Shack on Hesketh Island is perfect for a small family or a couple and is glamping at its finest. It sits in the trees, 30 feet from the beach, overlooking the water and Yukon Island. This is a remote island property and can only be accessed by boat. We provide water taxi transport with True North Kayak Adventures. Pricing is $85/adult and $75/12 and under, round trip. Kayak and SUP trips are also available as well as rentals.

The Cowboy Cabin

This simple, charming cabin sits atop a green (or white or brown) pasture overlooking Kachemak Bay and two spoiled horses. It has a quiet “out of town” feel, yet, the Spit and downtown homer are only an 8-12 minute drive away. You might find fresh eggs from our hens in the refrigerator if they are producing well! It includes one comfy queen bed, full bathroom with laundry, and a small but capable kitchen. Longer stays here are economical and comftorable.

Prime location to amazing restaurants, shops and the famous Salty Dawg. We are located minutes from the boat harbor. Step out your door to walk to your charter boat, water taxi or to walk the Homer beach or boardwalk shops! This is our downstairs unit, Apt 2!
