Great location for access to tons of hiking, flyfishing and other outdoor activities in the beautiful Bitterroot valley. Large shower with dual shower heads, stainless appliances and plenty of room to cook, two large decks for outdoor lounging and grilling. Note: the last mile or so is a primitive road. Trucks and sedans are fine but any vehicle with a low profile isn't recommended

The town a vibrant old downtown with theater, live music, a great weekly farmer’s market plus easy access to backpacking in the mountains or enjoying the river or local lakes. Hamilton is home to the Daly Mansion of the Montana Copper Kings. It’s close to several wildlife refuges including the famous Lee Metcalf Refuge. Guides are readily available for horseback rides, fly fishing , and float trips.

Enjoy a unique experience in a Montana built yurt. Our place was created for a Montana experience in mind. Our property is settled with little neighbors and breathtaking views. Guest will have access to a private entrance and a private bathroom area that includes a composting toilet and outdoor shower (seasonally May - October). Tiny Log Cabin on Creek

Just off HWY- 93, our tiny, cabin offers a place to relax by the creek. It includes high-speed Wifi, kitchenette. All just a stroll from the Bitterroot River (East fork). There is plenty of hot water in a spacious shower. Soak in the hot tub NEXT DOOR off our back deck. Guests reserve it for the time they want to use it and have it completely private. The cabin includes a Nature's Head composting toilet and a small loft with single bed. (which is the other bedroom)

Off Grid 2 Story Treehouse with Private Deck

This 2 story treehouse is about a mile away from the world famous Bitterroot River to grant access to world class fly fishing. A small grill is provided for making all of your meals but you'll want to bring your camping dishes. The outdoor shower is not operational during the fall and winter. It will be available in May/June. High in the trees you'll experience an elevated glamping experience, which is perfect for 2 people. You'll be surrounded by large trees, wild life, and peace.

The Cottage is a sweet retreat in the foothills of the Bitterroot Mountains, 2 miles outside of Hamilton, Montana. We are a family of four living the good life on our small hobby farm. The Cottage is our vacation rental nestled into the center of our 5 acre property. Complete with it's own driveway and nicely fenced off from the rest of the busy goings on of the barnyard, it is separate from our space, but animal sights and sounds are sometimes a part of the experience.
