Cabin at the No 1 The Chestnuts.

A small place to stay when travelling for work or visiting the area. Approximately 300 yards from Bentley Wood nature reserve. It’s a cosy cabin with very basic appliances/cups/bowls/dishes etc in the centre of a tiny village. There is a microwave, a 2 place countertop hob. A little fridge freezer. A bathroom with sink and shower. Towels provided I have had a couple poor reviews as there is nothing to do in the area, so ideal for a quiet stay!!! There is of course WiFi, tv, and board games.

You will be immersed in nature when you stay in this tranquil off grid field setting. This is comfortable camping. The Shepherds hut is set at the top end of our field. It is a secluded area surrounded by blackberry hedges, grass land and some oak trees. Enjoy the outdoors then retreat to a cosy indoor space with a comfortable bed. Includes a basic field kitchen. There is a compost loo close by, plus a mains toilet and electric shower a field walk away, next to the workshop.

There is a cinema room, minstrels gallery, grand piano, walk-on glass well, open fires, warm brickwork, low beams & panoramic views. Board games, darts and ping pong, plus yoga instructor (by appointment). All around are fields & forests, magical walks and wildlife. Extra guests possible, please ask. An array of alternative pubs can be found within an easy drive, alternatively have a night in and play boardgames by the wood burning stove. Dogs are absolutely welcome!
