It is an ensuite double bedroom with king size bed plus your own unique lounge, overlooking garden and woodland. There is car parking and bike storage and is only a short walk from Stocksfield rail station and bus routes. Great base for trips to Hadrian’s Wall, historic properties, Northumberland National Park and the nearby towns of Corbridge and Hexham. A hamper of breakfast goodies is provided.

Hillside is a beautiful self-contained cottage, an ideal base for cyclists, walkers, city goers, golfers and those just wanting to relax and unwind 2pm arrivals, 12noon departures In an Idyllic setting just 2k East of Hedley On The Hill Dogs are welcome at Hillside Cottage however due to limited space downstairs only one medium or two small neutered dogs, no pets upstairs please. Charlie’s Hut sits in the heart of our woodland offering immersive sounds of wildlife, privacy and a relaxing experience. From the luxury of the cosy cabin, you can enjoy a dining experience inside the Hut or step outside and dine amongst the nature of the woodland. Enjoy a BBQ / Fire pit in the summer air or take comfort during the colder months. Charlie’s Hut is a spa suite in the woods, featuring a Hot Tub with cover, an outdoor bath which can also be used as a cold plunge.

This little oasis of green is in a super handy location on the edge of the greenbelt, yet near the Team Valley, Metrocentre and Newcastle. There's a bus stop directly outside, with buses into central Newcastle every 30min in the day. Watergate Forest Park is right next door, with a fantastic cafe, lake, swans & lots of other wildlife. We're only a couple of miles from the C2C cycle route, with easy access to lots of other cycle routes & walks.

The Oaks

The Oaks is attached to our home. It has its own private entrance from the outside and internal doors are locked. It is an ensuite room set out like a hotel room. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS OUR FAMILY HOME AND IS NOT SUITED FOR A ROMANTIC/ PASSIONATE NIGHT AWAY BUT FOR GUESTS WANTING A PEACEFUL GETAWAY.. Wooden stairs lead up to this first floor bedroom that has its own decked area with outside furniture to enjoy the fantastic views.

At the end of a wooded lane, through a farm gate, two 1930s cargo rail carriages recovered from the North East Railway have been transformed into cosy retreats at Lockhaugh Farm. Carriage No. 1 is one of four unique rentals, uniquely positioned where Tyne & Wear, County Durham and Northumberland converge. Wild swimming, fishing, cycling and endless walks are just beyond the gate. Star-filled skies, owls, deer and badgers await.
