The Chef’s Shed - a farm stay

Situated in "cool country" Trentham, the Chef’s Shed was originally built in 1860, and has been lovingly transformed into a cosy, spacious and unique place to stay. It has quirky living spaces, including a loft, and wide, stunning views over the land around, even from the private sauna which can be used for a modest fee. From here you can explore the region. We are surrounded by nature, and a few minutes from The Falls and historic Trentham with cafes, pubs, walking tracks and a lot of history.

Toast them from your private deck whilst enjoying the town vistas and the wonderful 1500 sq metres of mature garden they planted.

Foletti's Barn is a cosy retreat. The perfect place to stop, relax, and leave the everyday behind for a few days. We are located in town, a short distance from Victoria Park and just a few minutes walk to beautiful Lake Daylesford, a good stroll in to the centre for shopping and food. The barn is positioned back on the property overlooking trees giving it a wonderful secluded feel. Please be aware that Foletti's Barn is not set up or safe for children or infants.

Trentham, Woodend, Kyneton, Daylesford and Malmsbury are all within 20min from The Cottage. Stroll down Piper St in Kyneton for a spot of shopping or a lazy lunch at one of the many fabulous cafes or restaurants. Perhaps a round of golf at the picturesque Trentham Golf Course. Or Daylesford Market is always a winner!
