The cottage is in a superb setting on a south facing hillside with panoramic views across miles of fine Yorkshire countryside. It is approximately two miles from the centre of vibrant Hebden Bridge where there is an excellent range of independent shops, restaurants, coffee bars, art décor cinema, theatre and markets. Perfect for a walking holiday, the Kirklees Way passes the property and the Pennine Way, Oldham Way are close by. A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

We converted the Old Piggery over 20 years ago, and have recently done a full refurbishment. It now has a cosy snug with a sofa as well as a lounge with far-reaching views. No. 2 Swanfold is a Grade II listed stone cottage full of charm and character, with many original period features, set in a delightful cobbled courtyard in the historic conservation village of Heptonstall, near Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire. The cottage is thought to date back to the 17th century and is believed to have been part of a Public House and Inn called The Swan, the only house in the fold to have a cellar presumably for the storage of beer.
