The Little Tump is a delightful, self-contained annexe of an extended 18th century farm cottage. We are atop a hill overlooking the Black Mountains with excellent walking all around. Close to Hay on Wye, the Offas Dyke path and a half hour drive from Abergavenny and the city of Hereford. We aim to provide the feel of a luxury retreat and all that you need to unwind in absolute comfort. Outside is a large decking area with your own personal Hot Tub to relax in after taking on some of the many walks in the areas.

This self-contained studio is the perfect location for cycling, canoeing, gliding, horse riding, fishing, wild swimming, and exploring the Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons and Wye Valley. A footpath at the door, with just a 5 min walk to the river and approx. 1 mile to the Offa's Dyke path which takes you to Hay Bluff. Very pleasant footpath/ bike route to the town . Bike storage on request, CCTV cameras on premises and free car park space provided.

A luxury hideaway in the grounds of an old cider producing Herefordshire farmhouse, Woodcutters Cottage provides a great base to explore this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Wye Valley. Cheltenham Racecourse is within easy reach for the Festival in March as well as other festivals for the non-horsey throughout the year - jazz, science and literary. Hay festival is also close enough to use this gorgeous cottage as a base.
