Located in a beautiful fishing village, just a few minute walk to a stunning coastline and beaches, the village has great restaurants, cafe, Blues micro pub and a friendly pub ‘the jolly sailor’. 5 minute walk to Latimers fish restaurant, then further along the road is seaburn with plenty bars and restaurants, a stunning beach. There is buses from the village to Sunderland and South Shields. Why not walk along the stunning coastal path to South Shields or over cleadon hills with stunning views.

The Old Barn @ Lamesley

This charming barn conversion with a lovely combination of stone and brickwork, has recently been fully refurbished. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of daily life in the picturesque village of Lamesley Pastures, situated on the outskirts of the city of Newcastle. The best of both worlds with ease of access to stunning countryside and only a mile from the A1. Sleeping four this luxurious barn is an excellent choice for as a peaceful retreat. "HAY LOFT" quiet rural location, close to Durham

The Loft is located above our garage in a large garden and field totalling 8 acres. We're at the end of a farm track in the middle of the countryside, half a mile from the nearest road meaning ZERO traffic noise. The headroom is kind of tight along the two sides but, at 6 feet tall I manage okay. Perfect for two, but can easily cope with 4 people. The Loft is accessed by external concrete steps. The accommodation is not suitable for children but we've squeezed them in on occasions.

With easy access to major road networks and transport links from our home, We are in an ideal location for commuting to or exploring the nearby Cities of Durham, Sunderland and Newcastle which are bursting with culture and attractions. To the East we have the coastal town of Seaham Harbour, to the West we have Beamish Museum, County Durham and Northumberland

It has everything you need in a home from home to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. It’s a short journey into Durham City, by car or bus and also close to the beaches of County Durham.
