Come stay in this quiet retreat, located outside of Gardner, Colorado in an area known as Malachite. This home was remodeled in the 90s, joining two adobe structures from the 1880s, beautifully blending historical construction with modern-day amenities. With 16" thick adobe walls, you will be cozy in the winter and cool in the summer, surrounded by picture windows to take in the scenery and local wildlife. Dogs and horses are allowed with approval and a fee.

This property is nestled in Greenhorn valley, right under the shadow of the mountain. Seeing wild deer, turkeys, foxes and other wildlife native to the mountain wilderness is a daily occurrence. Our simple but charming cottage provides the perfect jumping point to a vast array of trails, lakes, and points of interest. You can bring your dogs per request(No cats) as there is huge fenced dog yard. A photographers dream and a nature lovers retreat.
