Poros Island is serviced by both sea and road routes from Athens.By sea (from the port of Piraeus you can reach the island in little over an hour using the fast flying dolphin & catamaran services, alternatively driving from Athens to the coastal town of Galatas (where car ferries service the island every 30 minutes) can be achieved in 2 1/2 hours.

The studio is part of a bigger traditional old Stone house, fully renovated and with great view to the harbour. One reaches the houses in 10-15 minutes walk (and stairs) from the port depending on each person's pace. Hydra is amphitheatricaly built and there are a lot of cobble stone stairs around town and leading up to the house so ...not for everyone! new mandatory government fee has been introduced: the “Climate Crisis Resilience Fee”, amountingto €8 per night for short-term accommodations

Παλιό ιστορικό σπίτι της Ύδρας που χρονολογείται από την εποχή της τουρκοκρατίας. Βρίσκεται στην ''καρδιά'' του νησιού και η θέα από το σπίτι είναι μοναδική. Ακριβώς δίπλα στην Ιστορική Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών και μισό λεπτό από την οικία του Παύλου Κουντουριώτη. Αντιδιαμετρικά είναι επίσης κοντά στην οικία του Λάζαρου Κουντουριώτη, το σπίτι του οποίου έχει γίνει μουσείο. Η απόσταση από το λιμάνι, τα super market, τα cafe και τα restaurants είναι ελάχιστη.

Our house is a traditional, sunny house with two internal courtyards. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It is only ten minutes from the port of Hydra and is fully equipped. Four meters from the house there is a small grocery store that operates on Sundays. There are easy access to sandy beaches (Kamini, Avlaki, Mandraki) and to beaches with rocks (Spilia). The transfer of baggage upon arrival and departure will be done by us.
