The apartment is on ground floor with veranda in front. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful yet close to the city center and the swimming pool. The biggest shopping mall in Akureyri is only few minutes away. At a walking distance, is a great viewpoint for enjoying the midnight sun. Skiing and hiking area ten minutes away. Very cozy atmosphere for two people with two comfortable single beds or one double bed, and a crib upon request. Third guest uses a sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped.

A welcoming newly renovated one bedroom apartment in the legendary skitown, Olafsfjordur. It has all you would need after a long day of skiing, sightseeing or whatever you are interested in doing in the beautiful North-Iceland. Our property is centrally located to explore the natural wonders of the south. About 50 km east of Vik and 30 km west of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. 7.5 km from the ring road no 1. Most nature attractions in central south Iceland are within 95 minute drive from us. It is located in one of the most beautiful parts of Iceland on 140 hectares of land, in between the two big glaciers in the south Vatnajökull and Mýrdalsjökull. Our place is accessible by any car in normal summer conditions.

Cottage in a beautiful valley

This nice cottage is situated in the middle of a beautiful valley, with no neighbors disturbing you. You have a sea view to the north. A stream with waterfalls and rapids down through the valley. The hut is also a good base for skitouring and moutain hiking (many trails in the area) and horse riding. We offer horse riding for additonal fee. We can ride a calm tour with beginners or a bit faster with more experienced riders. Horse riding is mostly available from May till September.
