Clifden, The Barn on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. Staying at Waters Edge is the perfect place to relax, wind down and breath the clean fresh Atlantic air, whilst enjoying stunning views across the bay. Hill climbing to the rear and beach walks to the front of the cottage, there are possibly few locations to compare with this cottage

Set at the back of my old cottage, offering plenty of privacy, overlooking the vegetable garden and apple trees. Ideal for coastal walk to The Cliffs, ferry to Aran Islands, Doolin with it's mix of traditional music pubs & fine dining. Lahinch beach and The Golf Club. The Burren National Park is 30 min away.

There is endless walking and climbing with Connemara National Park on the doorstep. The cottage is located along the Wild Atlantic Way within easy driving distance of beautiful beaches at Letterfrack and Renvyle. Kylemore Abbey and Gardens are just across the lake outside the door which is suitable for fishing with boat hire also available
