Bring your gear and leave your worries behind. Built with special touches and details including stained glass windows and intricate woodwork, this tiny home boasts warmth throughout. Wake up to bird songs and coffee with the sunrise. After a day of fun, take a soak in the wood-burning sauna and relax by the campfire.

Amazing trails nearby that connect to Wabash Trace, downtown Omaha, the Riverfront, and more. We had fun decorating the cottage with local art. Very close to I29 and I80, Iowa West Field House/Sports Plex, Iowa Western, Creighton, Henry Doorly Zoo, Lauritzen Gardens, Old Market, CHI Center, and so much more.

Located one hour from Omaha in the scenic Loess Hills of Iowa, this newly remodeled studio apartment above the garage has a large deck and a beautiful valley view overlooking my hometown. With a queen bed, a pull-out sofa, full kitchen, shower in bathroom, laundry, and gas fireplace, the apt. is attached by an elevated deck to the main house, my childhood home, (which my husband and I call our "Hilltop Hospitality House"). We are excited to welcome gracious guests to this lovely space.

Drive into the attached garage and go upstairs where you will find your very private entrance to a quiet, peaceful, and restful living. Located 1 mile from the downtown area on a street loaded with large Oak and Walnut trees. A huge back yard in which to stroll or barbecue. It is the top half of my house complete with it's own kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. My residence is the bottom half of the house. Lots of excellent restaurants nearby. The Milk House at Lucky Star Farm

The Milk House is a unique space located in the countryside, between Iowa City and Kalona. This 700 square foot home has ample parking and room for four adults. The house is well appointed with a full kitchen, two luxurious queen beds, wifi and a Smart TV. Guests are invited to explore our 20-acre working farm with lots of livestock and two friendly dogs. It's a perfect blend of rural living with the perks of beautiful Iowa City 15 minutes away. Come unwind at Lucky Star Farm!

Bella's Suite at Stars Hollow

Bella's Suite is the private, lower level of our home, with a separate entrance. The beautifully decorated space includes living & dining room, fully equipped kitchen, bath, bedroom & a massage room. Our farm is nestled beside 140 acres of beautifully groomed public trails. Feed the cows, read a book on the beach, take a hike, fish for bluegills in our lake, race a pig, skip rocks or canoe in the creek, have a bonfire (S'mores provided) & stargaze from the relaxing hot tub!

Prime Bald Eagle • Wildlife Lake House Retreat

Little House on the Lake sits along one of Iowa’s most active bald eagle corridors, with frequent sightings right from the windows and deck. Our shoreline’s tall trees and the open water near Mehaffey Bridge attract both resident and migrating eagles all winter. Adults show their classic white heads, while juveniles appear larger and brown as they develop. Winter months bring especially high activity as northern lakes freeze and the birds gather here to fish.
