Scenic Point Cottage @ the Heights

The property is located next to Scenic Point on Highway 7 in Jasper. The gift shop is adjacent to our property. You cannot ask for a better location for your trip to the Ozarks. You’re not far off the Highway, but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere due to the tranquility of the space. This is a perfect spot to call "home base" during your hiking trip to Jasper or float trip on the Buffalo National River. Also, a side note; the inside fireplace is not usable but the outside firepit is.

We have a propane grill just waiting for your culinary skills. Maybe you'd rather prepare a late breakfast in our mini-kitchen, and enjoy it on the porch with a fresh cup of coffee. Centrally located to climbing, hiking, and floating this downtown Jasper home is 102 years old and a short walking distance to cafes, shopping, and the Little Buffalo River. Features your own private entrance, excellent water pressure, and additional amenities. New comfy mattress and able to provide additional sleeping area in separate living room. Knotty Pine cabin is minutes away from Jasper and The Historic Ozark Cafe, Peggy Sue’s Coffee Shop and The Buffalo River and Canoe Outfitters are within minutes for your convenience. Very quiet, private 1 bedroom cabin with seasonal views of the Little Buffalo River. Fully equipped kitchen. Access to beach and seasonal swimming hole. A perfect romantic get away. There is also a sleeping area separate from the house available for an additional cost if you want to bring an extra guest or two. Close to many access points on the upper section of the Buffalo River for fishing, floating, hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing nearby.

This charming cabin is located in the heart of the Upper Buffalo River Wilderness area and is less than 9 miles in either direction to Jasper, Arkansas or to the historic Boxley Valley. Jasper is a quaint town where restaurants, eclectic shops and groceries can be found and the Boxley Valley offers many opportunities to view the wild elk that live there and also has many great hikes including Lost Valley and the Buffalo River Trail (BRT).
