Die Wohnung eignet sich ideal für Handwerker, Gäste auf der Durchreise oder Menschen die es nicht stört, dass die Wohnung etwas außerhalb gelegen ist. Bus- und Straßenbahn sind in der Nähe. Der Balkon mit Blick ins Grüne lädt zum abschalten ein. Raucher sind herzlich willkommen... aber bitte nur auf dem Balkon ;-.

Gaberndorf ist ein Stadtteil von Weimar und nur 2,5 km von der Innenstadt entfernt. Es verkehrt ein Stadtbus alle dreißig Minuten. Von Gaberndorf aus sind Weimar, Erfurt, Eisenach, Jena und viele interessante Städte nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. Auch den Thüringer Wald kann man in dreißig Minuten mit dem Auto erreichen. Motto: In idyllischer Lage gut übernachten!

Our German-American family would be so pleased to invite you into our home. Our charming, 200-year-old guest house is just a few minutes away from the historic town of Weimar. Home to Goethe and Schiller, Bauhaus and rich with culture, there is so much to see and do in this area. We have lovingly renovated our little cottage, framed by roses and furnished with antiques, melding the old-world with a touch of the modern. We hope that each of our guests feels at home.

We use filtered rainwater and electricity from a small solar panel system, following the motto of returning to the source for pure nature and tranquility. Sometimes less is more. Dogs get their money's worth. The approximately 1000m² forest is fenced in with a 160cm high fence and the dogs can run freely
