Big 1 bed cottage has comfy King mattress + 2 sleeper futons. The Cabin (only open May 1-Oct 31) has kitchenette, bathroom & Queen bed. A backyard path to hammock & chill spot by Ripples (view only, but 1/2 mile away is Long Pond for swimming, canoe/kayak rental). Grill. Firepit. Tranquility! NOTE: Cabin open May-Oct + has ceiling+box fans but no A/C

Visit National Acadia Park, Bar Harbor, Winter Harbor & many towns in between.

Head down the stairs to the beach. Observe the changing tide. Be amazed as low tide reveals a near-mile-long sandbar stretching into the bay, creating a one-of-a-kind walk. Bring your kayak to tour the bay. Keep the binoculars handy to look for visiting seals and the neighboring bald eagle. Fill the days with simple pleasures.

Schoodic Loft Cabin "The Roost" with Kayaks

This playful cabin offers a unique spot to unwind and explore the Schoodic peninsula and Downeast Maine. Kayaks are provided to explore island studded 462 acre Jones pond, a 10 minute walk down a trail. A 10 minute drives brings you to the less visited Schoodic section of Acadia NP, where a network of hiking and biking trails lace the coastal forests and dramatic rocky coast. Nearby Winter Harbor has shops and restaurants and even a ferry across the bay to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island.

The Arthaus, an eclectic retreat for two

Located on Mount Desert Islands, "Quietside". The cottage features high ceilings and an open floor plan, with a small deck looking into the woods The walls are decorated with original art work by the owner. Our location is central to the island, situated just outside the village of Somesville; 15 minutes to Bar Harbor, 10 minutes to Southwest Harbor by car. Hiking and swimming opportunities are just 5 minutes away by car. The Arthaus is not suitable for pets, despite our love for them.

If you are looking for a place to get away and relax, our house on Molasses Pond may be a good fit for you/your family. It is a hidden gem down a dirt road away from hustle and bustle. Peace and quiet is what you’ll find, along with a gorgeous view. It’s a great place for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, grilling, fishing, and laying on the hammock. We try to provide you with all the necessities you may need and are happy to answer any questions. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Our little piece of paradise is located oceanfront to the Atlantic. The space is a unique one-of-a-kind build, showcasing the natural beauty of West Jonesport. The main level hosts a king size master suite, beautiful chefs' kitchen, and 180-degree views. Enjoy the upper deck while getting lost in a book, grilling dinner or sneaking away to the private outdoor shower space. From the deck, you can access the downstairs where you will find an additional bedroom, bathroom and porch/deck.

This recently renovated home features a well stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances for cooking a seafood dinner or a light meal. You can also enjoy outdoor dining on our deck as you view a beautiful sunset. This cottage has 3 bedrooms (2 queen beds and a futon) and one bathroom. The living room features a patio door leading to a new deck with spectacular views of the ocean.
