Centuries ago, a castle called ‘Huis Ulft’ was located on the premises. It used to belong to the sister of one of the Netherlands most important historical figures. Nowadays, the location still resembles a fairytale’s beauty. The cottage is comfortably equipped with facilities as a large private terrace, multiple unique bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen.

The signal tower Linn was built in the 1920s and has now been extensively renovated after being decommissioned over 20 years ago. With love for the details and an eye for its historical origins, a unique and extremely atmospheric location has been created. Precies over de grens Woold-Barlo ligt de Grenspeddelaar. Voor heen een winkeltje en benzinestation, waarmee het ooit begon. Inmiddels is het tankstation onbemand en is het voormalig winkeltje verbouwd tot een charmant en comfortabel gastenverblijf. De Grenspeddelaar ligt op een bijzondere plek: er is soms reuring, maar er staan ook grazende koeien aan de overkant van de weg. Iedere gast, vakantieganger of passant is welkom!
