Private room in cozy basement. Bathroom is adjacent to the room and is private. There is a small fridge, a coffee maker, electric kettle and a microwave oven. We are in Geneva, Illinois. We are LGBTQ+friendly. Our space is ideal for shorter stays and visitors on the go. Not staycations. Quiet area. Hosts live on the upper level and guests pass through our space to get to the Airbnb area. By "shared space" it is the host rarely passing through living room when noone is there for laudary.

Queen bed with mattress topper, studio area includes Smart TV, water station, Keurig coffee machine and quick-set lock. Even though you are less than a mile from downtown St. Charles and 4 miles to the Geneva train station you have a private area. You may see deer out your window overlooking the pool and tennis. Not suitable for children or pets.

Nature lovers will enjoy observing the Pond from the Main house at Pond View Acres - a renovated, ranch-style home on 15 acres in a country setting. With a scenic view of a pond, it is surrounded by forest preserve to the west and south. Just a quick drive to shopping. Beyond the pond are walking trails that may provide wildlife sightings, such as deer, coyote, fox. This small farm is home for four mini donkeys & chickens. A garden area separates the Main house and the Guesthouse.

This space offers a private bedroom and private bathroom. It is 0.5 miles from Interstate 90, 3 miles from the Metra station that goes straight to downtown Chicago, and 25 miles from O’Hare international airport. This home backs up to Tyler Creek Forest Preserve, so enjoy the privacy and wildlife!

You will find the Fox River and its beaches just minutes away, and several conservation areas including Moraine Hills State Park within minutes distance. Nearby you will find many recreational activities such as boating, fishing, paddle boating, kayaking, tube floating and boat rental. In addition, there are several restaurants and grocery stores nearby for your convenience.

Peaceful two bedroom cottage newly refurbished. Plenty of outdoor space, woods streams and walking trails nearby. Tucked out of the way of busy roads or city life but only a short drive to all the amenities of civilization. Keep an eye out for deer, ducks, beavers, hawks and other scenic wildlife out the back window/patio. There’s even a couple bald eagles that live nearby. Consider a longer stay to take advantage of discounts on 2, 4 or 7 night stays

Sherwood House

Enjoy the ambience of the Sherwood House, an 1884 Victorian built for Judge David Sherwood. Use of entire first floor apartment including a full kitchen is perfect for longer term stays. Original features include multiple stained glass windows, beautiful wood work, multiple decorative fireplaces and hardwood floors. Located just blocks from downtown Elgin, walk to shops, restaurants, the casino, bike trail or Metra. WiFi and off street parking.

Batavia - World Traveler Hideaway (Room 1)

Double bed with private bathroom. Gardening is on of my passions. I have a huge backyard with a patio with quiet places to have a cup of morning coffee or a glass of wine. Two friendly non-shedding dogs, many treasures from my travels abroad in multiple sitting areas. If sharing the same room, additional guests accepted. NO car. There is nowhere to park your car. Cozy room in the house. great place to relax before/after a long flight. 5 minutes from the house there are shops, cafes and restaurants, public transport. And the airport can be reached by taxi in 15 minutes or by bus in 1 hour The room has air conditioning, so you can always set a comfortable temperature for yourself.
